Are your phones ready?

If all goes well your phone should be ringing. The call can come ANYTIME before lights out (9 PM CST). Have your list of questions with you at all times. The call may be longer, not as quick as the first one and they may be more relaxed. They'll also be excited to share everything that is going on and you may then forget to ask those questions.

Keep it Hopeful, Inspirational and Supportive!

It's now been about 2.5 weeks since you've heard their voice and it's getting rough. Hang in there.  We're here to help and make sure you're getting the extra support.

They are missing you too. Keep writing! Send a few pictures (G-rated). You can even print the pictures on the paper your writing the letter on and write around it.

Finding other family members to join is as easy as sharing with others. We've created this word doc for you to print off, cut into strips, staple them together (so they don't fall all over the place), & share with those at MEPS & with your trainee so he/she can share with those at BMT.
